PHOTO PHRYDAY

Well, I choose to stay away from the more commercial aspects of this season.
I prefer to reserve Christmas celebration to just a few days.....I do love this time of year though, and wanted to participate, so I decided to post some photos of the natural beauty of the season in my neck of the woods.

Very nice! We can all take a few moments to view and enjoy photos no matter the time of year.

I agree with everyone else, Sparkle, beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all. Nature never ceases to amaze us, at least it does me!
These photos are especially beautiful, they show that we need nature far more than it needs us. Thank you for posting them!

I enjoyed the pictures.

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

The bluish leaves are an evergreen bush indigenous to the area......from Northern California to the Alaska panhandle....in the Rainforest belt. It can vary in height from one to 6 feet, the size of the leaves also vary accordingly. The bush,
called "Salal", produces delicious dark purple berries and lovely racemes of waxy cream coloured bell-like flowers The new stems are fuchsia -coloured. The bushes often fill the forest floor in huge areas. They often grow alongside Sword Fern.....Also a popular landscaping plant and is picked commercially for sale to florists.
