About 35 years ago, I was asked to help design a quilt to be raffled off, and to create one of the squares. The theme was "dance". We were raising awareness and funds to promote making midwifery legal in B.C.......The quilt turned out amazing and we made a lot of money raffling it off and selling posters and cards of the quilt. We ended up making a quilt every year for 10 years. They had different themes and became more elaborate every year. Anyways, after embroidering one of those large squares every year, and a lot of pressure to make it special, I sort of lost my interest in doing embroidery.......Now that I have lots of time, my eyes and hands aren't co-operating for me to get the results I want.........

Thank for the info........Today I spent hours drawing stylised eyes, all over a white cotton top with a black sharpie....LOL.....I'm hoping I will have the courage to wear it........
