This is so true, and I've heard the word playing used in place of laughing. My late husband was old before his time and I say that because he didn't seem to be able to just cut loose and let the kid in him out to play....... when he did, our kids and I loved it and laughter would fill the house. Maybe that is why I so enjoy getting together with SFF friends..... there is always lots of laughter. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

My kids get me going......they have completely different humour styles........I often make Sunday Brunch for friends and family.....usually crepes with a choice of toppings.......a build your own plate kinda thing. So a bunch of people are sitting around the table drinking coffee, chatting and waiting for the crepes and I'm cooking. I could hear what they were saying and my son was up to his usual joker mode, baiting people.....he knows everyone so well.....he knows just how to bait them and get a laugh. I go over to the table, still holding the pancake flipper and someone says something and I say "oh, he's always baiting people and they usually bite.....and he says, "Yeah, Mom, but you're the master- baiter." and without thinking, I smacked him with the flipper and we all roared.......Well, that crepe was ruined......
