Actually, I am not afraid at all.......... but we must be aware of what is going on, and cautious about things, and protect the borders of our country. Do you get involved in political discussions in your country? Does Canada not have any major problems to deal with? Is illegal immigration not a problem there? How would you all handle it ? Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Yes we are experiencing a lot of refugees coming across our Southern border from the US and it is a large problem......... Instilling fear the way Trump is doing in order to secure votes is exacerbating the situation in a way that is not helpful to anyone. Calling the refugees wending their way North as a "Caravan", saying that there are criminals, MS13 and other gang members, that there are Middle Eastern ISIS members hiding among them, saying he will send up yo 15,000 military troops.......that throwing rocks will be considered the same as firing bullets and will be met with return fire. ......... It's a group of refugees travelling together for safety....they're walking.....they are a thousand miles away, who knows how many there will be when they reach the US............ Trump is lying and pumping up the fear at his rallies......You may not be afraid, but there are a lot of people who are.

Illegal Immigration has been a problem in the United States for years. I have seen president after president grant amnesty. This is not fair for the immigrants who wait, jump through hoops and get here legally. Trump is the first President to put his foot down and say "No!" Bravo!!!!

?You know nothing about Abbotsford, except that mu SFF profile says I live there, which I don't.....but Abbotsford has an extremely diverse population, with many South and Middle Eastern people..... I live in a low density population area......this site uses an algorithm that uses population concentrations.....Apparently their software identifies Abbotsford, which is actually a suburb of Vancouver as my home.......I live on a small island between The East Coast of Vancouver Island, and the B.C. mainland. As the crow flies, Abbotsford is probably the closest city with a population concentration above what the SFF algorithms indicate. However, for me to get there requires about 6 hours of travel by road and 2 different ferries costing over a hundred dollars. The alternative is to take a ferry to Vancouver Island and drive to the closest airport and fly to Abbotsford. I have explained this several times on this site...... As to Trump's lies......He lies constantly......Blatantly and shamelessly.....Most of his lies are easily fact checked and many that are being fact-checked constantly by people across the globe. It's concerning to the whole World that a megalomaniac who shamelessly tells huge whoppers constantly .is being supported with unquestioning reverence by so many Americans.......How did you get yourself into this state of worshipping a monster?.....

The audacity to call Trump a liar? LOL........What takes audacity is to deny that Trump is a liar.......well, perhaps not audacity as much as pig-headed denial. We watch live-streaming video of Trump lying his face off over and over.....then a few days later we see video of him insisting that he didn't say what the whole World saw and heard him say......You have to be very far up Trump's backside to deny that he is a liar.....

In the 50s, my parents were casting around looking for a new country to live in. They were educated, had job skills, plenty of money to set themselves up in the "new world" They received brochures from many countries......The brochure from the US had a photo of the Statue of Liberty and that poem.........They were horrified, were completely turned off by the attitude.....they were not homeless, wretched refuse. They were already free and were just looking for adventure, different scenery and a challenge.........They rejected the US based on the inherent insults of that poem..........Trump says he wants merit-based immigration....... That poem addresses refugees, not merit-based immigration.

I did not "install the information" I entered my actual location in my SFF profile application and they spat out "Abbotsford"......My Facebook profile gives a different Vancouver suburb as my location......We just accept these glitches as a given.....they are what they are, but you, not having a clue about algorithms, choose to accuse me of lying, yet still refuse to acknowledge that your president is a habitual and chronic liar..........In fact you won't even admit to any of his lies.

Are you saying that it's reasonable to believe that every white American should be armed? Or for so-called "religious people" to call for the death penalty for women who have abortions. For punishment of LBGTQ people? Or that it's "reasonable" to call Nazis "good people"...even after your country, and the rest of the world fought a war against them, A WAR IN WHICH ALMOST 80 MILLION PEOPLE DIED? And now, your new messiah call's them "good people" Where's your conscience? If you think all of that is "good conservative Christian morals" You left your "religious belief" behind a long time ago. That may be conservatism...it is definitely NOT Christianity.

Actually Trump is putting his foot down and saying STOP!!!! The group from the Caravan had bullied thier way into Mexico, throwing rocks and injuring the Mexican Police. They are not going to get away with doing that to the United States. They don't get to browbeat thier way into the United States illegally and demand that we take care of them. I am positive that our military can deal with the rock throwers without shooting them If you had traveled in Mexico you would know that Mexico has States and Municipalities just like we do. Which translates into many borders to cross. At border entries people are profiled, detained, searched, etc. … and it's at the whim of Mexican Government personal. If the caravan of immigrants is throwing rocks it's because the Mexican Government took their weapons.

Actually, I have travelled to Mexico. Ironically, Mexico has offered asylum to these people. The smart ones will take it. Same language, similar culture, ad infinitum. The rock throwers get sent back. We don't want them on this side of the border either.
