Don't know how it picked up 2 pics of Motts pic and I do not know how to take 1 off.

It doesn't matter that there are two pics of Mott...... she was bigger than life and maybe it takes two to show that. See many friends in that picture...... and as Mott would say, "It was a LARGE time!" Thanks for the tribute to a sweet gal. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end.... We did have some great get-togethers back then, didn't we? The paintings of Mott are great, Bright, I love them. Also enjoyed seeing old friends in the picture. Ann and I often look back on the old days and talk about what fun it was getting together.

I CHATTED WITH MOTT FOR MANY YEARS AND WAS ALWAYS INSPIRED BY HER GOOD WORDS. I SURE AM GOING TO MISS HER. THANKS SO MUCH FOR UPLOADING THOSE PAINTINGS AND THE PHOTO.

Your painting of Mott is excellent and anyone who has ever known her will tell you the same. What she endured is beyond belief and she is the toughest woman I have ever known. I am honored to have spent time with her. Macon was fun and you are right...Mott was always the life of the party! 💔💖💗 Fossil and Lucy Non ego te hic placere

Hello Bob........Thanks so much for your kind words and I tried so hard to capture the essence of her that I saw in chat and witnessed when we met. She was one tough lady and had a strong faith in God. I am planning to be at the one in Biloxi next year.

I only met Mott once at the bash in Seattle in 2010. She also lived for a short time in Vancouver, BC and saw her here as well. We had a fun time in Seattle and she was always raring to go. Love your portrait of her. She was a member of SFF for a great number of years. I recall meeting her in the chat room when they only had one chat room. It was crazy times in those days. Thanks for taking us down memory lane.

The sad part of SFF has crossed our lives once again. I become sad now when I hear Mott's mane. She was my first lady friend in SFF. I know she is now free of pain and that helps me. I know where I will get to see her again and that helps me. I am glad our Creator said, "it is time to come home Mott, your work on earth is complete.". I have re-framed from posting on the subject of her in the chat room or the blogs until now. I am sure the long time members know my relationship with this fine lady. I have always referred to her as one of the last "Southern Belle's". There are many, many wonderful memories I have off her. After meeting her my first time in Nashville she was instrumental getting other ladies to come to my home for the weekend hoping to see a new colt born when she learned when my mare was due. I was only at the bash in Nashville for about four hours during the Saturday Night dance because I was afraid my mare may deliver early. There were many questions as well as rumors about that weekend. I never responded to any of them. I just sat back and smiled while the ladies in attendance at my home educated them all within just a few times in the chat room. I must thank Brightsmile for the beautiful painting. My knowing her work I knew it would be a master piece. I hope some way I can obtain a print of it. Ms. Mott was so special to me. Oh and to my knowledge most everyone in the group picture taken in Macon GA had their copy enlarged and framed for their home. Everyone who had a camera had a picture made with it by the young man we had never seen before. In closing I have decided this to be a short post on Brightsmile's Blog. I will be receptive to conversations at our next meet and greet honeybunz and I attend. about my lady friend Ms. Mott. . The beginning of life, conception..

Beautiful likeness of Ms. Mott. Thanks for your blog Bright. The wealth of a soul is measured by how much it can feel; its poverty by how little. W. R. Inge

Hello Butterfly........Thank you so much for sharing your first bash experience and I find it a bit like my experience. Butter at the one in Macon we had been talking in chat about Sex on the Beach so when I got there Mott had fixed it up and she poured me a small amount..........at that time I just wanted to see what it tasted like and it was nice. When we got back in chat we asked how many folk had had "Sex on the beach"?...lol. Everybody got a big laugh out of that too.......lol. Thank you for your kind words about my work.

Bright, thank you so much for that lovely portrait of Mott; your painting of her captures the Mott I shall always remember. I first met her in FL back in 2007 and she welcomed me as she did everyone she met. What bundle of joy! Her persona made you believe in people again...not that I ever had much doubt but with Mott it was as if I had known her all my life (except for the southern accent lol). She certainly fought her dreadful disease without wanting us to feel sorry for her. Yet I often worried about her. I knew she must have been in terrible pain. I shall always have great admiration for this caring lady and although I was so very sad to learn she had passed, I now know she is at peace & without pain. Thanks also for the photo of the SFF gang ... so many familiar faces I've met at one bash or another in FL.
