I am sitting in the computer room listening the rumbling of a storm on the way. Glad we are inside cozy and dry.
I was going to take the trash can down to the street but uhhh, I think I will wait until I go down to get the paper in the morning.
I bet I will look cute in my jammies, robe and if it is icky out I will wear shoes instead of slippers.
No one is usually up and around outside and if they go to the trouble of pulling back the curtain to see they get what they deserve..I will comb my hair though

ONE MORE TRY WITH THE BANANA BREAD

BANANA BREAD
1 CUP
1/2 C. SHORTENING
ADD 2 BEATEN EGGS
2 MASHED BANANAS, SOMEWHAT DARKENING PEEL
4 TABLESPOONS MILK
ADD 2 CUPS FLOUR, 1/2 TEASPOON SODA, 1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER, 1TEASPOON VANILLA
1/2 CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS, OR AS DESIRED
MIX WELL AND POUR INTO A LOAF PAN, GREASED BOTTOM OR USE PARCHMENT PAPER OR BOTH
BAKE 45 MINUTES AT 350 DEGREES OR UNTIL A TOOTHPICK INSERTED IN CENTER IS CLEAN
COOL ON WIRE RACK
I LIKE TO SPREAD APPLE BUTTER ON THE SLICES

I ran across the recipe you posted 6/14/2020 for Cranberry/nut bread so off the store to buy cranberries. I found fresh ones!
Yesterday I made and WOW!!! is a keeper!
We had our first slices this morning and both Alfie and I loved !
I just wanted you know how much we both enjoyed .
