A reason, a season or a lifetime...everthing has an end and a beginning. 1/12/2006
I really believe that in life we have to take chances, and
this means get into situations where one is sometimes open
to being hurt.
Being senior is no blanket of screening or shelter. Age
and experience still creates the same hurts, if and when
a love affair ends...so knowing this, why not experience
the affair and handle the rejection, with the same flair
and delight you started it ...

Response to;- Dating and Spending money. 1/12/2006
May I add a little understanding from a man's point
of view. When were being raised and taught how to date, many
of us were taught that women like to be treated special.
I dinner at a fine resturaunt, a movie, flowers, these things
we were taught to present a lady with to show her as a man we
were, or could be, a good provider for a family. Having the
ability to give these gifts can be seen ...

God and Ice Cream 1/12/2006
Last week I took my to a restaurant. My six-year-old
asked if he could say grace. As we bowed our heads he said,
"God is good, God is great. Thank you for the food,
and I would even thank you more if Mom gets us ice cream for
dessert. And Liberty and justice for all! Amen!"

Along with the laughter from the other customers nearby,
I heard a woman remark, "That's what's ...

How many stages do we go through? 1/12/2006
After the divorce is over, how long and how many stages do
we go through? What are they, and when do we know we are through
all? I have been a year now and feel reasonably well satisfied
I have worked through all, but maybe others know more than
I about much of this. I heard one man refer to taking half
the years you were together to get over marriage.. is that
so? if so I was 20 year, ...

Relationships for a Reason, a Season, a Lifetime 1/4/2006
People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to
do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to
meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They
have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide
you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, ...

love versus hate 12/11/2005
We meet someone of the opposite sex, and our stomach might
do a flipflop, or our heads, so we want to see them. We make
a date to go dancing. Oh, gosh our whole body is jumping around
and we feel we might be too nervous to carry this date through.
But we do, and the next and the next. By now, we are both getting
serious, he proposes, or maybe she will if he is too slow,
which it has ...

How to Lure A Capricorn Into Matrimony 11/19/2005
Capricorn are reliable, practical, disciplined, reserved
and very serious about everything. Fortunately that includes
sensual gratification. The Capricorn libido actually
increases with age. The Capricorn wants someone who is
reserved and proper in public behind closed doors. Oh la
la - and think to yourself what a wonderful world. To turn
on a Capricorn - you must convince them that ...

What happened? 9/10/2005
After six dates, he just stops talking to me; no answering
calls, emails. Not a word to explain what happened. We live
in a society where, unfortunately, some people believe
they can just trample on someone else's emotions and
it is reflected on tv, news, etc. Respect begins with acknowledging
that one cannot have relationships with others unless
respect is shown. Thank you for the ...

Did President Bush RespondQuicklt enough 9/9/2005
well I don't usually talk on politics but this is a time
will ask did President Bush respond to the hurricane disaster
quickly enough when he knew New Orleans would be a disaster
before it happened? I am feeling so sad for all the lives
lost in the city and the poor who were so forgotten would
it have made a difference if it had been the rich ? I think
it would have.

What are the goals here? 8/17/2005
Of course the relationship is destined to demise if one's
profile is seeking a long-term relationship and possible
marriage. On the other hand, that person has very little
time to devote to others, and claims to have been alone for
so long that it's hard to followed ideas of his dates.....he
wants her to go braless to a date (which is a bit over the top
for a 42 D large breasted woman) ...

a little rough. You don't hear from him (or her) as much

hear the "I've been busy" excuse and you
wonder "What did I do wrong".
Ladies (and gents), when you start hearing these responses
it's time to mentally and emotionally prepare yourself

If I was happy would I be here? 8/10/2005
I remember chatting with this guy once, nothing new about

to me "if I was happy would I be here".
I wonder if that is true if someone is in a relationship and
they spend time on the net does this mean they are or are not

it comes to commitment? To me it is so simple. I thought we

1) The man is at fault. He seems to think that there is something
to prove. Usually of course his virility. So off he goes
beating his chest and looking for the first Jane in the jungle.
2) The woman is at fault. She's had enough. The
have all grown up and the man looks like a pair of old shoes
that need chucking out. A younger man is what she wants.
An article I read recently said that ...

Made Easy (or easier) 6/17/2005
We have talked about honesty and it really comes into play
here. The truth hurts sometimes but hurts most of the time
when a relationship turns sour for one of the parties. It's
best to be truthful and just tell it like it is or maybe sugar
coat it to save some feelings, but be firm that it is over.
Feelings will always be hurt, but we are adults and most
of us can handle it and move ...

It's not that hard 4/5/2005
Breaking up? wow! it is something that should be honest
and talked about before hurt feelings occur. No one likes
to be told that they are not "the one" and least
of all be told that by a person they thought really liked
them. But breaking up can open you up to new people who may
be more interested in you than the person you are presently
seeing. The main thing in a breakup is to tell ...
