I am a young 59 year old. Financialy independent, I keep fit by going to the gym. I'm young at heart I have a great sense of humour. I dress well and my friends tell me I'm attractive . I love friends, family, good food , wine and interesting people. I'm a mad Rugby league fan, my team is West Tigers. I'm looking for an interesting and fun loving gentleman to share good times with. I'm not looking for marriage at this stage.
My Ideal Person
I'm not sure if there is such a thing as an "ideal" person but I guess if your going to be in a relationship you need to have similia values and beliefs and enjoy spending time together. I think it's important that two people also have their own"space" and time to pursue their own interests and just because you may have a relationship doesn't mean that you need to be together 100% of the time. TRUST is important to me because if you don't have that , then your kidding yourself as there is no relationship. Although "looks" don't make the person , I think you are attracted to someone initially by their appearance ...physicaly and personal grooming, (that's why we post our photos) , then sexually and when you get to know then by their mind/thoughts and beliefs. My past history tells me I get the first two OK but struggle to have the connection with that 3rd crucial component. Someone that I would choose to spend time with would be spontaneous; fun loving; have a caring nature and understand the importance of family (although you don't have to have them around all the time). That don;t have to be a "Greenie" but have an understanding that we all have a responsibility to the environemnt. I also can't tolerate racism (of any kind)...that doesn't mean that I get on with everyone and accept everyones beliefs etc but you need to respect others, understand that we are different and there is good and bad in every race of people. I don't like it when people make broad sweeping statements about a particular race and just band everyone together. I sound a bit serious, don't I, but really I'm not. I love life and everything it has to offer. I'm determined not to grow old and grumpy and if I had someone to share my life with that would be great, if I don;t then I'll still have a lot of fun.
